EXCESSIVE BATTERY DRAIN

Radio Check is designed to be lightweight, but here's how to minimize battery impact.

Normal Usage

Radio Check should use less than 2% of your daily battery. If it's using more, something may be off.

Reduce Battery Drain

1. Disable background refresh — If you don't need instant updates, turn off background app refresh.
2. Reduce notifications — Fewer notifications = less wake-ups = less battery.
3. Update the app — Battery optimizations are included in updates.
4. Check location services — Radio Check doesn't use location, but verify it's set to "Never" in your device settings.

Reporting Battery Issues

If Radio Check is using excessive battery:

1. Go to Settings → Battery → Radio Check.
2. Screenshot the usage stats.
3. Send them to support so we can investigate.
